Search Engine Optimisation

SEO and online search,

working for your business.

SEO built around what your business actually needs – qualified traffic that converts into customers, not position-one bragging rights for keywords nobody searches.

Why SEO matters

Most of your customers start with a search. Are you there?

When someone needs what you do, the first thing they do is search for it. If you’re not appearing in those results, you don’t exist to that buyer – regardless of how good your product or service is.

SEO is the process of making sure your business shows up in the right searches, says the right things when it does, and converts the traffic it earns into real enquiries and sales. Done properly, it compounds over time – unlike paid ads, which stop the moment you stop paying.

The difference between a business that grows organically and one that pays for every visitor is usually one thing: a coherent SEO strategy, executed consistently.

68%

of all online experiences begin with a search engine. Your customers are searching – the question is whether they find you or a competitor.

53%

of all website traffic comes from organic search. It is the single largest source of visitors for most businesses.

higher close rate from inbound SEO leads versus outbound. People who find you are already looking – they’re ready to buy.

The problem with most SEO

Most agencies optimise for rankings. This is not the same as optimising for revenue.

A page one ranking for a keyword nobody buys from is not a result. SEO built around conversion means chasing the searches that lead to customers – and making sure the page they land on is built to convert them.

Traditional SEO thinking

–

Rank for as many keywords as possible

–

Chase high search volume, regardless of intent

–

Monthly ranking reports as the measure of success

–

Technical fixes in isolation from the content

–

Traffic as the end goal

SEO built for conversion

✓

Target searches with buying intent

✓

Optimise for the right traffic, not the most traffic

✓

Measure leads, pipeline, and revenue

✓

Technical and content strategy working as one

✓

Conversion as the end goal

What's included

A complete SEO service, not a checklist of tasks.

Technical, content, and conversion all treated as parts of the same engine. Every component works together – because in practice, they can’t be separated.

▾

Technical SEO

Site audit and technical foundation

A full crawl of your site to identify the issues stopping Google from indexing and ranking you properly – speed, structure, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, and schema markup.

◆

Keyword Strategy

Keyword research built around buying intent

Not just what people search – what they search when they’re ready to buy. Mapped to your pages and your funnel, not a spreadsheet of search volumes handed over and forgotten.

▱

On-page SEO

On-page optimisation that converts

Title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, and page copy – optimised for search engines and for the human who lands on the page. One without the other is half a job.

■

Content Strategy

Content that earns traffic and closes it

A content plan built from keyword gaps and competitor analysis, written to capture search demand and move readers toward a decision. Content for content’s sake is not the brief.

△

Link Building

Authority building that actually works

Relevant backlinks from real sites in your industry and geography. No link farms, no PBNs, no shortcuts that work today and damage your site next year when Google updates its algorithm.

●

Reporting

Reporting tied to revenue, not rankings

Monthly plain-English reports showing organic traffic, ranking movement, leads generated, and revenue influenced. You’ll always know whether SEO is paying for itself – and what to do next.

Process

How an SEO engagement runs.

SEO is a long-term investment. The first two months are diagnostic and foundational. Months three onwards is where compounding starts.

Month 1
Foundation

Audit, strategy, and quick wins

Full technical audit, keyword research, competitor gap analysis, and a prioritised action plan. Quick-win fixes go live in week one – the things stopping Google from ranking you that can be resolved without writing a word of new content.

Technical audit Keyword research Competitor analysis Quick wins

Month 2
On-page

Optimise existing pages for conversion

Every key page on your site reviewed, rewritten where needed, and restructured to rank for the right terms and convert the traffic it earns. This is often where the fastest commercial impact comes from – improving pages that already have some visibility but aren’t converting.

Month 3+
Growth

Content, authority, and compounding

New content targeting keyword gaps published on a consistent schedule. Link building targeting relevant, high-authority sites. Monthly reporting against traffic, leads, and revenue. The strategy evolves every quarter based on what the data says is working.

What's coming next

SEO is changing. AI search is already here.

Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT search, Perplexity, and Bing Copilot are changing how people find information – and how businesses get found. Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is the discipline of making sure your brand appears in AI-generated answers, not just traditional search results.

All SEO work is carried out with AI search visibility in mind. A dedicated GEO and AI SEO service is available for businesses who want to get ahead of this shift before their competitors do.

AI Overviews are already live

Google’s AI-generated summaries appear above traditional results for a growing number of searches. If your content isn’t optimised for them, you’re not in the answer.

ChatGPT and Perplexity cite sources

AI assistants increasingly recommend specific businesses and websites. Being a cited source requires the same foundational SEO work, plus content structured for AI consumption.

Traditional SEO is still the foundation

AI search pulls from well-structured, authoritative, clearly written content. Everything in a strong traditional SEO strategy feeds directly into GEO readiness.

FAQs

Common questions about SEO.

How long does SEO take to work?

Honestly – longer than most people want to hear. Technical fixes and on-page optimisation can show results within four to eight weeks. New content takes three to six months to gain traction. Meaningful compounding in competitive markets takes six to twelve months. Anyone who promises faster results is either very lucky or not being straight with you.

How is this different from an SEO agency?

You work directly with the strategist. There’s no account manager relaying your brief to a junior writer and an offshore technical team. Every decision – what to write, what to fix, what to chase – is made by someone who also understands your paid media, your conversion rate, and your commercial targets. SEO in isolation rarely performs as well as SEO connected to a broader growth strategy.

Do I need to be doing paid ads as well as SEO?

Not necessarily, but the two work well together. Paid ads deliver traffic immediately while SEO builds. Once organic traffic matures, most businesses reduce their paid spend – so SEO typically pays for itself over time. If you are running ads, a shared keyword strategy means both channels reinforce each other rather than competing for the same budget.

What if my website is old or poorly built?

It’s a common starting point. A technical audit will identify what can be fixed within the existing site versus what would require a rebuild. In many cases, significant SEO improvements are possible without touching the site structure. Where a rebuild is genuinely needed to get results, that will be flagged clearly and early – not six months into a retainer.

What does the monthly reporting cover?

Organic traffic (total and by page), keyword rankings for target terms, leads attributed to organic search, revenue influenced by organic, and a clear breakdown of what was done that month and what’s planned next. No vanity metrics, no rankings for keywords that don’t drive enquiries. If it doesn’t connect to the business, it doesn’t go in the report.

Do you write the content or do I?

Content production is included as part of the managed service. Every piece is briefed, written, reviewed, and published as part of the monthly deliverable. If you prefer to write your own content, a strategy-and-oversight model is available where the keyword brief, structure, and review are provided but production stays in-house.
